ENERGY EDUCATION PROGRAM

Housing Plus is committed to improving energy efficiency in its tenanted homes and has launched an energy education program for tenants living in homes across Orange, Bathurst and Mudgee.

The energy education program comprises four fact sheets that aim to assist tenants to achieve greater energy literacy and access energy concessions, including those available through the NSW Government.

• Fact Sheet 1: Manage your usage by watching your meter & bill.
• Fact Sheet 2: Negotiate the best deal with your energy provider.
• Fact Sheet 3: Cheap ways to make your home more energy efficient.

Printed copies of these fact sheets are available from our three branch offices in Orange, Bathurst and Mudgee.

The energy education program is funded by a $10,000 grant from Spark Tank, a community competition administered by Skillset with funding provided by the Office of Environment and Heritage.
