OUR BOARD

CHAIRPERSON: BRAD CAM

Director since: January 2012.

Appointed Deputy Chair in 2014, and Chair in 2016. Brad was also a Board member, from 1997 to 2005, of the former Central Tablelands Community Housing Association Inc, now known as Housing Plus.

Brad has always volunteered his time to help organisations, community and regional boards or sporting groups throughout his working life. He believes housing is one of our most basic needs and feels privileged to be appointed to our Board of Directors.

Brad has an extensive construction and asset management background that allows him to contribute much needed expertise as Housing Plus enters a new phase of business through property development, and addresses the ever demanding need for quality housing for the community.

LYALL SADLER: TREASURER

Director since: October 2010

Lyall is employed with Nestlé Australia as the Financial Controller at the Nestlé Purina Petcare factory in Blayney. He has 38 years’ experience in the commercial manufacturing sector in industries spanning metal fabrication, plastic extruding, coal mining and medium density fibre board manufacturing. He also spent three years overseeing Nestlé Purina operations in New Zealand, South Africa and China. Lyall is actively involved in charitable work with his local church.

JASON COOKE

Director since: March 2016

Jason is the Head of Finance and Facilities at the Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst. Jason is also a Director on the Board of the NSW Local Health District and member of their finance and performance committee. 

Jason’s qualifications include Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow Chartered Accountant, Master of Management and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). Jason has 28 years of commercial, financial, strategic, regulatory and governance experience across public practice, energy, local government, health, education, social services and sport.

    DUNCAN BRAKELL

    Director since: 2022

    Duncan was admitted as a solicitor of the NSW Supreme Court in 2006, the High Court of Australia in 2008, and called to the NSW Bar in 2010. 

    Since 2001, his career has spanned across financial, regulatory and legal sectors. For over four years as a lawyer in Sydney, Duncan was a voluntary member on key industry panels for the NSW Law Society and the Law Council of Australia. 

    Duncan has a diverse practice in civil law and criminal law (including jury trials and sentencing) across state and federal jurisdictions. As a farmer, lawyer and barrister Duncan has built relationships with the people of regional NSW – individuals, small business, larger companies – and is a strong voice for the regional community.

      STEVEN WOODHOUSE

      Director Since: 2022

      Steven has experience as a security technology futurist, focused on thought leadership, executive relationships, and driving sales in the region. 

      He has more than 25 years of proven of success and diverse experience across IT strategies, cybersecurity, IT service delivery, IT infrastructure, and governance and risk management. Throughout his career, Woodhouse has become a trusted IT advisor to the cybersecurity community and business executives. 

      Steve has held senior roles in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, he was CISO and executive director – enterprise technology services for the Queensland Education Department.

      JULIANNE POTTS

      Director Since: 2022

      I work full time as the Manager of the Integrated Violence Abuse and Neglect Crisis Response Services for Western NSW Local Health District. I have worked with NSW Health for more than 30 years and 23 of those years has been in the area of violence abuse and neglect. I am a strong advocate for improving responses and service provision for all victims of interpersonal violence. I am chairperson of the community Fundraising Committee for The Orchard- Orange and I enjoy volunteering time to work toward improving services.
