  • Developing a Cultural Capability Framework, including a Reconciliation Action Plan, to guide our approach to delivering culturally-appropriate services for Aboriginal people.
  • Launching the Australian Social Value Bank (ASVB) with our Housing Alliance partners, allowing organisations to easily compare the costs of their program to the value of the social outcomes they create.
  • Developing our Outcomes Measurement Framework, in conjunction with Social Ventures Australia (SVA), to effectively measure the impact of our interventions on clients and communities.
  • Commencing a pilot of our innovative Opportunity Knocks program, which helps participants to set and achieve personal goals around education, employment, entry into the private rental market and homeownership.
  • Holding the state’s first summit dedicated to housing and homelessness in regional NSW.
  • Launching our Energy Efficiency Program, which aims to support energy efficiency in our tenants’ homes.
  • Launching our Scholarship Program aimed at providing financial assistance for our tenants and household members who are enrolling, or continuing, in education.
  • Delivering our Staying Home Leaving Violence service for its first full year, supporting 55 families experiencing domestic and family violence to remain safely in their home and keep the perpetrator out.
  • Taking on ownership and management of the 10-unit ‘Inala’ complex in Millthorpe, NSW, providing affordable housing for low income residents over the age of 55.
